Payment Options

We appreciate the opportunity to serve you! We’ve found that a clear understanding of our financial policy in advance of dental care helps to relieve some of the anxiety associated with dental visits. Please read the following carefully and ask us any questions you might have. We will do our best to answer them for you.

• Patients without insurance coverage need to know…
  The fee for the treatment rendered must be paid in full on the day of service. We do offer a discount on all payments that do not involve insurance when paid on the day of service.
• Patients with insurance coverage need to know…
  The estimated patient copay and deductible for the treatment rendered must be paid in full on the day of service. Please understand that you are ultimately responsible for all fees generated by your treatment. We will help estimate and communicate these costs in advance whenever possible.
• We accept Visa, Mastercard, checks, CareCredit and cash for payment of the amount due. Cash discount of 10% for procedures not covered by insurance when paid at time of service.  We do also offer Care Credit for those patients without insurance or in non PPO or discounted  plans, that qualify, to extend your payment time. 
• 24 hours notice is required for rescheduling appointments.
  A $25 to $150 fee, depending on the amount of time that was reserved for you, will be applied to your account for rescheduling, canceling or failing to show up for your appointment without 24 hours notice. Tosa Dental reserves your appointment time exclusively for you and by keeping scheduled appointments we can serve you and all of our patients more effectively.

Dental Insurance

We are happy to help you utilize your dental benefits. We are out of network with all insurance providers but often you may still use your insurance in our office. We will submit claims on your behalf and estimate your out of pocket investment for treatment prescribed whenever possible.  We are happy to help you understand how your insurance works and assist you in attaining a healthy smile you love!
